PhotoScape X is a free download from the Microsoft store and contains an app called Tiny Planet. I have started to use the app in perhaps an unconventional way and will demonstrate it here.
The photos seen here are readily available on the Internet and I have borrowed a few via screen capture to practice my editing skills. The concept started as a way to fix photos where I wanted to eliminate the background, or had inadvertently composed the image poorly, or just cut something (or someone) in half.
After getting some interesting patterns and colors, I decided to implement the process on a regular basis. The other benefit is creating a larger file for export because you are adding pixels via color and textures. This is helpful if you have obtained the picture with screen capture and consequently a low-resolution file. Creating a final file with a size above 2 MB (preferably 4MB) would make it available to upload to a stock photo site and possible sale.
