Have you ever seen a great slow-motion video and wondered how it is done? Then watch a few videos on the subject and the instructions go something like this. “To get that buttery smooth motion just shoot at a higher frame rate then slow it down in post-processing.” But, the actual procedure on how to accomplish this is never given. I have likely heard this advice dozens of times and actually did quite a bit of research before finding any detailed instructions on the subject.
At some point, I would like to do a series that may be described as, “Did everyone know this but me?” I am sure it could be quite extensive and never run out of subject matter. The larger point being, there is a need for some very basic tutorials where the novice student is not lost in the first few minutes and gives up.
