A quick follow-up to the last video as I talk about my experience with Shutterstock.
Shutterstock is a global provider of stock photography, stock footage, stock music, and editing tools; The site maintains a library of over 350 million stock photos, vector graphics, and illustrations, with over 21 million video clips and music tracks available for licensing.
Perhaps the premium site for stock sales and I have found their approval process for submissions to be rather strict. I have had a large number of photos rejected but then when submitting the same photo to another agency it will be approved.
In June of 2020, Shutterstock reduced its commission schedule to the dismay of many contributors. Not only will payouts be reduced but there will be 6 different tiers used to compute your exact payment.
