It is the last weekend in May and temperatures in Las Vegas are approaching 100 degrees. Seems like a good time to get out of the city for a short day trip. I am heading south this time as I had traveled to Utah on the 2 previous outings.
I had been to Hualapai Mountain Park a few years ago but this was before I became serious about photography. I thought a return trip might be interesting and was anxious to try out my skills with a set of fresh eyes. The name is derived from the Native American tribe that originally lived there. The Park is located near Kingman Arizona and features a rustic setting of pine trees with elevations of 4000 to 8000 feet. So, definitely cooler than Las Vegas.
