My goal this year was to combine photography with exercise and conveniently I have Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area just a few minutes away.

This hike was more of a scramble in some parts of the trail and not suited for carrying very much camera gear. It is listed as 2.2 miles round trip but could take 2-3 due to the difficulty levels. I did manage to finish the trail but will do more research before my next outing.

Please excuse the personal indulgence with the music selection. I just happened to like the song at the time at it fits somewhat with the pace of the video. Bonus points if you can name the singer!
