Video and photo showcasing autumn colors of the great southwest American landscape.
Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge is located in the Amargosa Valley about 100 miles north of Las Vegas. It is an easy day trip and there are 2 different routes to the refuge. I took one route when leaving home and the other upon returning. This also gave a few extra photos opportunities along the way!
The park is a little difficult to navigate as it is mostly gravel roads. My top speed was about 15 MPH and still a bumpy ride along the 10-mile scenic route. Consequently, a little hard for me to suggest the attraction as an ultimate destination unless you are already near the area.
