The Great American Southwest

I found some slightly different scenery this Sunday morning in October. Once again I got an early start and was on the road before 5:00 am. I was driving west out of Las Vegas and heading for Pahrump Nevada along State Route 160.

There were quite a few turnouts and side roads where I was able to safely fly my drone and you can see the results here. Unfortunately, the sky was mostly cloudless and no great sunrise was to be found.

I have likely mentioned this before in the way of a small tip regarding capturing video. I always have my drone recording on the return-to-home flight. You are virtually guaranteed to get smooth video and will occasionally get a great clip. The end clip in this video is a good example as it provided a nice ending to the collection.

As always, all comments are welcome!
