I started out the day without much of a plan. This seems to be a pattern in my life and it did not start recently. The morning was somewhat dictated by the sunrise and I started out far too early which allowed for about 2 hours of driving time. I have overdosed a bit on Red Rock Canyon so I headed south just to get out of the city for some new photo opportunities.

By 6:00 am it was time to start looking for a destination as sunrise was scheduled for 6:30. About this time I was crossing the Nevada state line and found a nice parking spot just off the highway.

I was relatively happy with the results but would have liked a bit more variety in the shots. However, by this time the morning light was not cooperating and battery power was running low also.
